Ruth Buckley

Ruth began her career in diagnostic radiography before specialising in breast imaging, leading services across Wirral and Chester in the north West of England and later serving as Quality Assurance Lead for the National Breast Screening Programme for the North of England. She then returned to mainstream radiology taking on departmental management roles across Cheshire and Merseyside.

She now works with the North West England Imaging Training Academy (NWEITA), leading workforce development and education research and education/training learning needs analysis projects across interventional radiology, breast imaging, and PACS, admin and clerical workforce.

Outside work, Ruth enjoys skiing, mountaineering, tennis, and adventures with her dogs.
