Rebecca Scott

Becki is a Diagnostic Radiographer at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Lead Radiographer for the NWEITA RENEW (Radiographers: Expanding the Numbers of the Essential Workforce) project. This exciting project is a focuses on strengthening diagnostic radiography student placements and exploring innovative approaches, including simulation, to help develop practice-ready graduates. 

Becki previously worked as a lecturer  in radiography at Keele University, where she developed a strong interest in research and evidence-based practice. During her five years in academia, her work on simulation-based education and preparing students for practice was presented nationally and published. Her clinical and academic experience has since shaped a research interest in improving imaging services for children and young people. 

Outside of work, Becki enjoys live music and supporting her daughters’ many hobbies.
